Pushing snow from a driveway or parking lot onto a road, or depositing snow in a way that blocks driver's vision is specifically prohibited in Michigan code. New Due Date for Property Tax Payments
The Board of Trustees has approved an extension for payment of Winter 2018 property taxes. Tax payments had been due on February 14. The new due date is Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

Public Hearing Notice - Special Land Use
Please be advised that the Charter Township of Royal Oak Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at 6:30 PM. The meeting will be held in Room 210 at the Charter Township of Royal Oak Administrative Offices at 21131 Garden Lane, Ferndale, Michigan, 48220.
The Township Clerk's Office provides Notary Public services free of charge for any Township resident or business owner.The Clerk's Office is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Thursday.

Yard Waste - Leaf Pick Up
The final yard waste pick up will occur on Friday, November 24 . Please remember to place yard waste, including leaves, in approved containers/bags. Yard waste should be placed at the curb in front of your home no earlier than Thursday evening for Friday pickup. Disposing of yard waste in empty lots, or in any manner not in compliance with Township ordinances will be considered illegal dumping and you will be prosecuted if caught. Great News for our Water Infrastructure!
We are very excited to announce that the Michigan Department of Treasury has awarded the Township a grant of $500,000 to assist with the cost of a proposed Water Delivery System Rehabilitation Project. The project is currently in its planning stages. Watch this space for updates on this important project.
Special Meeting Notice - Study Sessions
The Board of Trustees will be holding Study Sessions on the third Wednesday of each month at 11:00 AM. Sessions will be held in the Supervisor's office and are open to the public.
